Anderselite are recruiting on behalf of a tier one contractor, who have a great opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This role will play a vital part in the overall success of our busy framework with Thames Water and you will be joining a growing collaborative team with a great reputation in the UK Construction industry.

Main Responsibilities:
Achieving the delivery of projects within budget
Working in accordance with the direction of the Contracts Management team
Delivery of projects in line with customer objectives and contracted scope of works
Implementing the management of an Estimate in conjunction with design project
Management and third-party input
Taking part in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customer
Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports
Preparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the brief
Assisting in the development of programmes for the delivery of our services
Preparation of standard documentation – reports, letters, financial statements etc
Assisting with the analysis of business cases, prepare reports at all stages of budget setting

Candidate Specification:
Degree/HND in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or another relevant subject
Experience in a similar role from a civils or M&E background
ACostE/MRICS/MCIOB qualified or working towards
Experience of working on Water/Wastewater and Pipeline projects preferred
Familiarity with existing estimating package CANDY, CONQUEST CAUSEWAY COST EX etc
Good understanding of how TOTEX (Total expenditure) is calculated using Capital Expenditure, Operational Expenditure, Whole Life cost and Embedded / Operational carbon values to provide whole life cost solutions to our client
Knowledge of NEC construction contracts
Strong communicator with good numerical and analytical skills
Thames Water experience is preferred but not essential
