Job Title - Estates Manager / Development Project Manager

Sector - Private (High-end) Residential

Location - North West & Mainland Europe

Position - Permanent

Salary - £60k + £65k + Car Allowance, healthcare & pension

An exciting and lucrative opportunity has been created with a well-funded international property management company. They have over 30 years' experience covering Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Residential & Leisure Sectors and are equipped to deal with whatever problem, and wherever the location.

We are looking for an Estates Manager from a Construction background who has experience of working on high net worth private residential properties. You will be responsible for 5 private residential properties across Lancashire, Isle of Man and France.

Proven experience and delivery of Master Planning and Project, Cost and Design Management is required due to the planned refurbishment and property extensions across the portfolio. You must be competent in setting up and delivering Planned Maintenance Programmes and Reactive Management Plans to ensure the efficient proactive running of the properties for the client and to ensure an efficient response to any issues on the properties.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Production of an Annual Estates Management Programme.
  • Production, implementation and management of Planned & Preventative maintenance Programme.
  • Procurement of Reactive Maintenance Programme complete with response times and sign off.
  • Agreement of annual Estate Development Plan with key stakeholders
  • Working with the client to achieve an agreeable Estate Development Plan
  • Procurement, establishment and performance management of key high quality supply chain to carry out the work.
  • Project Management of refurb and Master Planning works.

Requirements & Experience

  • Proven management experience of private high value residential properties / estates.
  • Thorough experience and understanding of estate maintenance.
  • Project Management experience on refurb projects in high value Private Residential Properties.
  • Track record of delivering projects from feasibility to completion and placing into service;
  • Access to a proven design and construction supply chain operating in the areas covered by the Estate;
  • Experience of working on high quality projects with high quality finishes
  • Experience of working in Mainland Europe would be an advantage.
  • French speaking would be an advantage.


  • Bachelor's level qualification in a construction related discipline, such as architecture or engineering, construction project management, surveying or building;
  • Chartership with (or close to achieving chartered status) with a relevant body such as MAPM, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE, ARB, MIStructE or MCIBSE;
  • CSCS card or other demonstrated competence.
