Senior or Principal EC&I Design Engineer – Sellafield - Permanent – Up to £63,000

The Company:
My client is an established supplier of specialist engineering, manufacturing and technical services within challenging, high integrity, environments. They deliver nuclear projects from concept through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.

The Role:
As a Senior EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for nuclear projects at Sellafield. You will provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to detailed design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of EC&I systems for nuclear projects at Sellafield
• Provide technical support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure that all designs meet the relevant standards and regulations
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met
• Manage the work of other engineers and designers as required

Candidate:.
Engineering experience ideally within the nuclear industry or alternative highly regulated industries. (Petrochem, Oil, Gas etc)
Familiar with NEC3 and a track record in delivering to time cost and quality with experience in areas such as: HMV Power Distribution, (above 1kV), LV Power Distribution (below 1kV), Earthing & Lightning Protection, Building Services (Data, CCTV, Telecom, Fire Alarm, Lighting, etc.) and Radiological and Environmental Monitoring.
Qualifications:
Degree (preferred) / HND / HNC.
CEng / IEng (preferred) or minimum working towards professional registration
