Exciting new job opportunity just in for a Document Controller to join one of the most well-known and respected construction companies on today’s marker on a fixed-term contract basis. We are looking for someone ambitious, talented, and motivated with a flexible approach to work. You will be responsible for providing support to projects and contracts on all aspects of document control within the Construction sector. What we need from you –
- Experienced user of electronic document management systems. Systems such as, BIM 360, Livelink, Viewpoint, Conject etc. Skills are transferable from other systems and training is available.
- Excellent computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word. Willingness to expand knowledge when new systems are introduced.
- Excellent level of literacy and writing skills
- Excellent time management and able to commit and work to deadlines
- Be a team player, flexible and able to work with others
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in construction
Key Responsibilities -
- Using Autodesk BIM 360, facilitate and efficiently manage the project’s documentation and data including uploading/downloading project drawings, maintaining RFI and CVI registers and maintaining up to date hard copies of all project drawings and assisting with resolving queries
- Quality checking all documentation and drawings and efficiently communicate updates with project team members
- Work in accordance with the applicable project procedures and within required timescales
- Circulate documents for review, information, or approval by following project procedures and protocols
- Assist in preparing and issuing project status/progress reports as required
- Uploading of all environmental information onto internal datatabse
- Assist in project close-out and handover/archiving and filing activities
- Ensuring all aspects of the site office is set up efficiently and runs smoothly for the site team for the length of the project
- Be first point of contact for all queries and enquiries relating to the project, always portraying a professional and efficient image
- Monitoring and ordering of site stationery
- Upkeep of project staff absence spreadsheet and site shared calendar
- Assisting and processing with the input of induction data on site
- Assisting in the collation of site information and the compilation of various reports (project reports/health & safety/environmental/CSR figures)
