Job description

The Company

We are looking to urgently recruit an experienced New Build Customer Service Administrator join a well-established, leading house builder based in the South Tyneside region.

You must have customer care and admin experience ideally from within the construction and property industry - new homes experience is highly desirable.

The Role

This is a full-time, temporary role which is initially for 3 months (possibility of further extension), where you will predominantly be based in the South Tyneside region.

You will have the attractive working hours of Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm and a bonus of an early finish at 4pm on a Friday.

Immediate starts available.

Main Responsibility

Your main responsibility is to provide an efficient and effective customer care service, liaising with customers, sub-contractors, site staff and team members whilst maintaining effective working relationships.

Job Duties

The following is typical of the duties the post holder will be expected to perform:

  • all-round office support duties
  • assisting customer care team with admin duties
  • to provide excellent customer service
  • maintenance response to all queries
  • scheduling maintenance and repairs works
  • liaising with sub-contractors and on-site staff
  • customer complaints handling

The Person

  • Must have strong customer service experience
  • Construction or Property industry experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent proven customer service skills
  • Proactive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good time management skills
  • Team player
