Job description

Role - Package Applications Group - Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Should act as single point of responsibility for both customer and project / program team.

· Build and manage relationship with customer CXO and CXO-1 level.

· Ensure successful delivery of the program on time, cost and quality parameters.

· Establish robust governance structure and perform periodic review of the application group at multiple levels.

· Mentor and manage team and align team towards the success of the program.

· Establish processes and ensure process adherence at all levels.

· Take ownership of presales cycle and drive building of business proposal for the new opportunities.

· Manage resources, timeline, scope and customer expectations

· Manage project deliverables with cross functional teams

· Manage change requests, determine impact, and negotiate changes to project scope

· Generate and deliver project plans and cost estimates to client

· Manage and participate in the following project activities: define functional and technical specifications; Unit and integration testing during the course of the project; Go-Live planning and Support

· Maintain project issue logs

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Minimum 12 years of experience in customer facing role, leading teams, managing growth, tasks, schedule, effort and cost of the strategic programs, program delivery or in similar capacity as engagement manager in any vertical.

· Excellent Customer Handling skill. Make periodic progress reviews with customer operations and leadership team.

· Good understanding of process, methodology followed for different types of projects, project monitoring and controlling mechanism, reporting mechanism.

· Should have experienced different models of delivery like onsite-offshore model etc.

· Should be able to understand customer functional / technical requirement and assign tasks to the team members based on the skills.

· Should be able to manage customer core team, project team and all project deliverables.

· Experience with ERP - JD Edwards and Oracle Cloud

· Experience with ERP Distribution applications. Manufacturing and/or Warehouse experience desired

· Excellent Communication skills - Assertive, forward looking, balanced view of the situation, convincing skills etc.

· Should be able to control project cost, track and improve project profitability.

· Ability to develop and deliver presentations at both tactical and strategic level of audience.

· Good understanding of different pricing models, multiple contracts type etc.

· Have a background in managing programs in either of manufacturing, Retail or Utility space.

· Application Development experience would be a plus.
