Job description

We are looking for an interim project manager to deliver some key projects that will underpin our operational review of how we run our Car Fleet team and the services we provide via our various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have experience in a project management role with a specialist in company cars.

The individual will need to be well organised and motivated and comfortable delivering under pressure and will little support.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Reviewing our use of technology and how we deliver the various services to employees and with our stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Reviewing our reporting requirements and make recommendation on how best to deliver them from a system perspective.
  • Design contract metrics for KPI reporting to conduct quarterly governance of all fleet suppliers ensuring key operational performance results are achieved.
  • Review and recommend a number of our processes to include car ordering, hire car vehicles etc.
  • Review our various Car policies and recommend any changes as appropriate.
  • Provide leadership and influence on all car plans by facilitating quarterly Governance reviews with the stakeholders which includes analysis of fleet benchmarking, fleet spend, savings, accident management data, licence checking outputs, online risk assessments, driver training, tyre maintenance reporting and conformance to policies, taking corrective actions where necessary.
  • Main contact for various company car to include fleet stakeholders from HR Reward and Finance.
  • Review our process for managing the process and risks of transferring or de-fleeting company cars to gain maximum commercial position.
  • Review and recommend our approach on implementing bespoke driving safety training solutions for company car drivers.
