Business Generation Manager
Temporary to Permanent

Rushden, Northamptonshire

Anderselite currently have a requirement for a Business Generation Manager to join one of our main contractor clients in Rushden on a temp to perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity involving a new internal system introduced by our client. The purpose of the role is to generate new business opportunities from external Public and Private companies who already have a relationship with our client and to offer them new services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the business generation of the new internal system introduced by our client. This is a brand-new position within our clients' organisation therefore a great opportunity to mould yourself into the role. The successful candidate must have strong Business Development skills and be able to work off own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development - Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

Be the product expert liaising with internal and external customers to ensure agreed levels of service are maintained

Awareness of risks, identifying new opportunities and maintaining coverage to internal/external customers

Liaise with external stakeholders - Public and Private sectors, Suppliers, Sub-contractors etc.

Candidate Specification:

Strong in customer service and building relationships

Strong communication skills especially on the telephone and email.

Confident phone manner - being able to pick up the phone, call multiple prospects and follow up calls efficiently.

Good initiative to seek out decision makers within an organisation.

The ability to engage and communicate competently at senior director level - CEO, CFO, MD, FD within external organisations

Solid IT skills - competent use of Excel (confident to manipulate data/create reports/ create simple formulas), Outlook, Word, Power Point, CRM systems.

Strong administration skills - attention to detail, ability to identify data sources and high degree of accuracy

Strong team player but also able to use own initiative - Works effectively with others to achieve tasks, performance, productivity targets & business objectives

Sales experience beneficial but not essential
