Do you have a passion for developing strong relationships with your clients? Are you someone who is self-motivated and can identify opportunities to grow your business? Anderselite are recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a Tier 1 main contractor to join their Technology division in the North West.

Our client has asked us to identify a candidate who has previous experience of business development in the construction industry. Your role will require you to build awareness of the company brand within the targeted market sector. By developing long-term relationships with customers, you will develop a sustainable business in this region.

Duties include:

• Increasing revenue in your region by identifying new business opportunities.
• Developing bid plans that optimise our client’s ability to secure these works.
• Pro-actively lead the development of relationships with potential clients and partners
• Maximise flow of income to the business and expose clients to wide range of services that our client offers.

The successful candidate will have:

• Enthusiasm, passion and confidence combined with an open communication style.
• Comfortable leading presentations, and key customer meetings.
• Engaging with new and existing customers to develop business and win work.
• Focus on business and regional targets such as pipeline, bids, orders and revenue.
• Identify potential new customers and work streams.
• Utilise the CRM system to manage clients & opportunities.
• Generation and follow up of sales leads and new business opportunities.
• Understand the competition, their strength, weakness, threats and opportunities.
• Evidence of building lasting relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• Able to build working relationships with members of the delivery teams, peers and colleagues.
