Business Development manager required for specialist contractor based in Yorkshire.
With a strategic growth plan in place, our client is looking to bolster its sales offering by maintaining and cultivating exisiting relationships with its current customers. The succesful candidate will develop new business contacts, opportunities, and convert valuable leads to expand the business liaising with Architects, Designers, Main Contractors and direct with blue chip customers.
We are looking to speak to candidates with a strong background within the Construction Sector, who has existing networks and contacts that may be transferable. A proven track record of selling into Construction Contractors and projects would be highly advantagous.
You will be directly responsible for managing the company sales forecast for revenue and reporting on performance against targets in Board Meetings.
You will create, curate, and manage the company CRM system demonstrating excellent leadership in cultivating new and existing relationships.
You will be proactive and self-motivated to manage a high volume of enquiries and strategically work in partnership with other team members to coordinate the customers needs.
You will foster relationships with stakeholders and nurture opportunity with manufacturers and suppliers to promote leads for new business.
You will be confident in visiting project sites and have an eye for technical detail in addition to an abundance of common-sense regarding health and safety issues.
You will deliver high professional standards when representing the company and its quality brand during face-to-face meetings, project site visits, delivering presentations, speaking at events or exhibitions.
You will have the ability to analyse data to report trends to inform the companys demand services.
