Opportunity available for a Bid Writer to work for a large construction organisation in Leeds

The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with our client's team to plan, develop and produce high quality, engaging bid documents and presentation information to demanding timescales.

Duties include:
* Writing persuasive responses to client prequalification and tender quality questions
* Actively participating in developing win strategies and answer planning
* Interview relevant site staff where required and articulate our differentiators
* Carry out answer reviews, learning from feedback and looking to consistently improve
* Liaise with graphics team to ensure bids are visually compelling and attractive, using digital and traditional communication techniques.
* Help ensure databases are up to date and knowledge is shared across the business
* Liaise with other business units nationally and internationally to capture and

Ideal Candidate
* Excellent communication skills
* Be an experienced and creative writer, good at articulating responses in a clear and succinct manner
* Team player, be flexible & happy to work with others to achieve common goals
* Self-motivated, always looking to improve and have initiative to bring forward new ideas.
* Strong attention to detail with the emphasis on quality
* Good time management, strong work ethic, able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
* Have an understanding of the construction industry and awareness of potential customer key drivers.
* Good I.T. skills, ideally including use of InDesign, Microsoft office suite and other relevant software
* Demonstrable experience working in construction is an advantage.
* Relevant qualifications are preferred, but not essential
