Bid Writer/Coordinator
Corsham, Wiltshire
Permanent - Up to £40,000 per annum

Great opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer/Coordinator to join a well-established company on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for writing effective, concise and compelling bid content whilst working under pressure.

Our client specialises in a number of engineering domains including aviation, rail, air traffic management and cyber security in which the Bid Writer/Coordinator will be required to support.

The successful candidate must have the ability to develop proposal structures, review and edit submissions and presentations and support bid documents ensuring a consistent approach for client and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the timely submission of all documentation.

Coach sales teams and subject matter experts in writing skills

Redraft written content, produced by other bid team members, to ensure consistency and quality.

Write and develop quality content for tender responses which are bespoke to the target, including proof reading and editing

Identify trends / initiate actions / assist in bid development and generation and the production of successful tenders.

Candidate Specification:

You need to currently hold or be able to obtain SC clearance

You need to have an understanding of technical / consultancy / engineering

You need to have experience of working in a bid team and producing technical bids.

You must have the ability to work on own initiative with a can-do attitude

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent in English, Journalism or other relevant subjects
