Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Construction
Assistant Quantity Surveyor required by a Tier 1 International Construction Contractor. They provide construction services across many sectors and are renowned for investing in and rewarding their employees, along with excellent long term career prospects.
They have a proven track record of successful delivery across traditionally tendered projects and have a very strong order book. Now require an Assistant QS to join their expanding construction division. The work conducted out of this office will work across a range of sectors including Health Care, Commercial, Leisure, and high-end Residential sectors.
This is a great opportunity to join their commercial team to work on £50m Health Care project.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing daily commercial management functions - measurement & valuations applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.
You will need:
- Previous experience working for main construction contractor (tier 1 ideally)
- A steady employment background
- Experience Health project experience
- Experience working in a live project environment and reporting to a Senior or Managing QS.
