We are currently recruiting an Asset Manager for a leading Facilities Services provider, covering the London/Greater London area


The role of Asset Manager will be to manage all aspects relating to Life Cycle Asset Management and deliver compliant, Intelligent, cost effective solutions and reports in a professional and safe manner.

Interface with on-site facilities project teams, specialist engineering resource & internal groups to delivering the operational requirements of the contract. The successful candidate should create additional value by demonstrating asset management capability & excellence within the organisation & ensuring condition based building life cycle asset management is embedded into day to day operations increasing the value of the Facilities offer to our clients.

The Asset Manager will be required to deliver strategic guidance to both the Account Team and the Customer on issues associated with the technical functionality of the assets. To fulfil this, it is essential to have expert knowledge in understanding technical and legal requirements as well as being at the forefront of innovation within the industry. The role may include active management of in house technical staff and operatives in conjunction with specialist suppliers.

Set up, maintain and monitor progress and report against Plan ensuring all deliverables are met in accordance with the Project

Manage the Lifecycle Asset management arrangements for the project, ensuring compliance with the FM Contract and its contractual obligations and ensure effective procurement arrangements are adopted to achieve value for money within the availability of budget & Maintain the Projects Asset Management & life cycle systems

Engage with and contribute to the asset management team to promote best practice and cross project / divisional standardisation


In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Building condition life cycle asset management experience essential
  • Strong track record of leading teams and a good communicator
  • Strong data analysis and reporting, familiar with CAFM and E-Systems / technology
  • Experienced in creation of PPM plans and optimisation and FMR's
  • Experienced in import template creation
  • Ability to challenge information to ensure the interests of the business are protected
  • Ability to work at all levels within the project to ensure all targets are met
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level working with clients and various stakeholders towards a common goal
  • Experienced in project management and client focused
  • Institute of Asset Management accreditation desired but not essential
  • Relevant technical accreditation
