Anderselite is currently looking for an Architectural Planning Technician// Planning Assistant for a busy and dynamic architectural practice based in Bristol due to significant practice growth.
The right candidate must be focused, confident and motivated with and with good technical and planning skills. You will have the potential to work on exciting large scale housing and residential projects for housing developers and gain a broad range of experience throughout all the RIBA stages.

Requirements:
You must be able to demonstrate excellent design skills via drawings, sketches and models
show digital competence in 2D and 3D software
pay close attention to construction details
manage the day to day running of projects under supervision
be responsible for own time management and working on multiple projects simultaneously
work both independently or as part of a team
understand and fulfil client's requirements and ambitions through clear communication and empathy to ensure their expectations are met
liaise confidently with clients, design team consultants, suppliers and local authorities
show willingness to learn and develop personal skills, seeking help and advice from more senior members of the team and other senior staff members as necessary in order to grow

Essential skills required:

RIBA Part 2 or Architectural Technician qualification
a minimum of 3 years professional experience in the UK
proficient 2D and 3D CAD skills, sketchup, Photoshop, MS word, MS Excel (all essential), Indesign (preferred), model making (preferred)
strong design, technical and hand drawing skills
demonstrable knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
ideally have experience in working on bespoke projects
thorough and conscientious, with a sensitivity for detail and presentation
excellent time management skills, and an ability to manage conflicting or multiple deadlines
be able to work independently and as part of a team under the guidance of a senior architect
This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week), salary dependent on experience.
