They currently have an exciting opportunity for a design and/ or technical orientated architect who is a passionate and driven individual to join their team in Bristol.
They are looking to expand their Passivhaus offer across the company and work on existing exemplary Low Energy and Passivhaus projects and assist the team in the growth of other work in this field.
Their current Passivhaus projects are within the residential and schools sectors and they are working on other exemplary projects with strong low energy design attributes across other sectors.
It would be preferable if you are already a Certified Passivhaus Designer and have proven delivery and they are open to the amount of post qualification experience. You should have a minimum of one year, but potentially (and preferably) more.

Registered Architect with no less than oneyears post ARB experience
Certified Passivhaus Designer and have proven delivery
Proven understanding the international Passivhaus Standard
Proven understanding of Net Zero carbon building design
Already utilising Revit on a daily basis
Proven skills of managing and delivering projects from inception to completion
Able to work from Bristol
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Work across disciplines in Passivhaus andlow energy/ Net Zero design
Passivhaus modelling and calculations
Building design and delivery
Some financial management of projects
Carry out regular design reviews
Co-ordinate with other consultants/specialists
Prepare detailed design drawings
Troubleshoot any and all problems associated with the project to QA procedures
Able to work with minimum supervision
Able to prepare working drawings andschedules and prepare specifications
Able to communicate effectively in verbal,written and drawn formats using appropriate media for different audiences bothinternally and externally
Experience managing small to medium to medium to large projects throughout their lifecycle
High level working knowledge of UK construction and building law
Innovative approach to design, high level of visualisation skills and an awareness of design style a benefit
