Policy Planner jobs available nationwide- typically required with both Local Authority and Private Sector clients who have long-term contract and permanent planning vacancies. Most work focuses around plan preparation, public consultation, development of policy guidance documents and incorporating new legislation into current planning documents.

Some opportunities are available dealing with major strategic issues, such as the Olympic Bid, Town Centre development and large mixed use development projects. Good teamwork and communication skills, along with the ability to negotiate at different levels are required for these challenging policy roles. Knowledge and experience of the planning principles, policy development experience and a Town Planning degree or equivalent is required for our Policy Planner jobs. Candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years experience are at an advantage.
