Job Description
Main Purpose of Job: To provide expert Technical Support to the Company on all products. To provide the Company with a technical support and installation capacity & to ensure First Time Fix installations both with internal & external resources. In addition to these functions the employee will be required to carry out any other such duties as may be reasonably required. Duties Conduct Site Service & Fault Rectification visits. Work as part of team on installation works nationwide. To be responsible for testing and return of faulty parts. Assist Technical Services manager in the Training and practical vetting of sub-contractors. Perform site surveys as necessary. Photographing installations & managing image archive & liaising thereafter with line manager Special Features Must be prepared to travel nationwide to service new and existing clients Ability to act on own initiative or as part of a team Must be proactive and have a strong work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a full UK driving license Must be prepared to be flexible with working hours as some weekend working required. Technically trained and competent in the installation and servicing of the following products; Automatic Doors, Security screens, Automated Building products, Access control, turnstiles Certified to the latest IEEE regulations Desirable Certified to ADSA requirements (most recent) Track record of successful fault finding & first time fix installs Ability to sell add-on products & services during site surveys Capability to deliver practical demonstrations Ability to contribute to the company?s knowledge database
