Job Description
Our client, a joint venture company are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical/ Lighting designer to help strengthen the team based in
Warrington. A continued increase in the workload has led to this vacancy, and our client are looking as a matter of urgency to get the ideal candidate on board.
This team's work focuses on a framework contract with the Highways Agency, to provide all design and construction services for the cyclic and routine maintenance of the HA controlled roads in the north west.
Reporting to the network manager, the position will involve the identification and development of derived schemes, including the checking and approval of designs.
Specific responsibilities will include;
Identification, collation of data and development of lighting and electrical derived schemes Review, check and certify design work for construction Control of Quality, Health and Safety with regard to designers risk assessments. Develop and mentor, where appropriate, other team members. Ensure all records, plans and instructions are produced for commercial and defect management purposes. Ensure all relevant A-one and HA databases updated on a regular basis Review risk assessments and method statements with regard to current working practices and legislation on a regular basis Ensure all network operations are carried out in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and A-one procedures.
