Job Description
We are now recruiting on our client's behalf for the position of Principal Environmental Consents Consultant for Energy Projects. This exciting opportunity is a result of the on-going buoyancy in the Energy sector and will offer the successful candidate a chance to be involved in a number of prestigious projects.
This position is based within the Glasgow office, however our client's main focus is finding the right candidate for the job, and will be flexible on location, with Edinburgh being considered as a potential base. Should you be successful, you will join a team addresssing environmental consents for energy projects, and reporting to the Head of Energy and Regulation, you will investigate and assess the environmental aspects of energy developments - particularly on conventional power stations and renewables projects.
To be considered for the position, you will hold a Masters degree in an environmentally related subject, and have a proven track record in EIA's and consent process. Applications will only be accepted from those candidates whom have eligibility to work in the UK, and candidates with membership to a professional body are encouraged to apply. Furthermore, potential candidates should have excellent team leadership skills, and the ability to win work with a sense of strong business growth.
