Job Description
Your role during the development phase is to ensure that the consented project will be able to be built safely and economically; during the construction phase it is to ensure that construction is managed to meet health and safety, environment, cost, programme and quality targets and meets the requirements of the Project Sponsor. Working in an Offshore Project team your area of responsibility will include Development of procurement and construction strategies Development of technical options Development and issue of invitation to tender documents Management of tender review process, contract negotiation and contract award Management of contracts for supply of subsea cable and installation of subsea cable. Assessment and recording of project risks into the project Risk Register Offshore wind farm industry would be beneficial but not essential, and your employment history may include working for oil and gas or power companies, or general engineering consultancies. You will be able to demonstrate the following skills; Project management experience and good interpersonal skills Good understanding of relevant health and safety legislation Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline Significant/demonstrable experience of working on large construction projects in multi-disciplined teams Experience in the supply and installation of subsea cables or similar The Company This company is one of the UK's leading renewable energy companies, dedicated to generating electricity using sustainable, environmentally-friendly re
