Job Description
Multi-national Energy Industry contractor requires an Operations Manager to oversee all operational aspects of their automation projects. The Company: This organization is a major international construction contractor who has established a highly successful energy division. They have managed to win a number of high profile public and private sector contracts to successfully deliver quality electrical infrastructure solutions across Australia and New Zealand. The Role: This multi-faceted role will see you responsible for all operational aspects of their automation business from project bidding & tendering right through to execution. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of a large team of mainly site based professionals such as project managers and supervisory staff and will also liaise closely with other departments to ensure effective and efficient delivery. You will also be responsible for monthly reporting and forecasting within your division and be tasked with managing the financial performance of your project portfolio. The Person: To be considered for this highly lucrative role, you will be a degree qualified engineer with significant experience within the power industry specifically within automation including protection and controls. The successful applicant will have a track record of managing multiple projects as well as having the business acumen and mentoring skills to be successful in a management position like this one. The Package: The role will be based in the company's brand new central Sydney office but will have regular visits to site. You will be rewarded with an outstanding salary package that will include full relocation costs if required.
