Job Description
Our client is seeking to employ an IT Environment Manager to be based in their
West Yorkshireoffice.
The role is responsible for managing the team that is responsible for the building and allocation of technical environments. You will ensure that all Configuration Items, Software Patches and Software Upgrades are correctly managed and deployed.
You will have between 2-4 IT Specialists reporting to you, and will be responsible for a budget of up to ?500k per year. You will provide leadership to this team, and will set team and individual goals. You will recruit resources to ensure that the right skills are available to carry out the duties of the team and ensure that the team is adequately equipped with tools and skills. Part of your role will involve Project Managing the building of technology environments. This role is dependant on may teams, and as such sound communication and relationship building skills are required. This role also involves the management of various staff involved in Patch Management, Configuration Management and Software Development.
You will have previous successful experience managing Environment, Patches and Configuration and will have a sound understanding of complex IT infrastructure covering both centralised and de-centralised.
