Our client leaders in Civil Engineering requires a Design Manager who is able to demonstrate experience in road, Rail & Energy sectors. This role will be based from their head office in Redhill,
Surrey.
To provide functional design support to projects both in process and monitoring of designer performance and provide design management input to tenders, identifying robust solutions and where appropriate innovative, design solutions which are engineered with safety and value in mind whilst securing engineering integrity.
To be a success in this role you will have demonstrable experience in:
Civil engineering design in road/rail/energy sectors Designing for safety and buildability Best engineering practices and keeping up to date as to legislative requirements Working with Design consultancies and reviewing their competency and terms of engagement Reviewing business management manuals/processes
Develop and maintain key relationships with Consultants and specialists to optimise the selection of design teams
