Geotechnical Engineering jobs and geotechnical design engineer jobs available nationwide- typically required to manage site investigations and desk studies. With a degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering or structural engineering, you will ideally be Chartered or approaching Chartered status.
Your areas of expertise may include: design of foundations, deep basements, retaining walls and slopes, finite element modeling, delivery of geotechnical assignments including desk studies, planning and supervising ground investigations, interpretative reporting, and geotechnical analysis and design. Some previous experience in project management or mentoring/supervising junior staff members would be advantageous especially for senior geotechnical engineering jobs.
