AndersElite’s Consulting Engineering team offer a range of Bridge Engineering jobs across the UK for senior and junior appointments. Bridge engineers are typically responsible for leading projects that involve the design of bridge frameworks, the structural analysis and project budgeting, as well as assessing the environmental impact of a major project. We are looking for people that have a consulting background in disciplines of engineering that focus on structural design or have previous experience in bridge engineering. Jobs for more junior levels are also available for graduates and engineering practitioners.

The responsibilities within most bridge engineer jobs include working closely with contractors and professionals on design and implementation plans, investigating the properties and cost of materials to be used, and ensuring that all safety regulations are in place. Depending on the scale of each project individuals are expected to be educated to at least a degree (BEng) or a Masters (MEng) level, have achieved a charted status from an engineering body and have proven experience within similar roles.
