Job Description
A Commercial Manager is required to work within the South West Team of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water?s Asset Management Alliance. The Asset Management Alliance (AMA) is an alliance of partners that work together to deliver Welsh Water?s services. The AMA?s overall objective is to develop a business framework under which all the partners work together to achieve the following objectives: Ensuring safe and healthy working conditions Delivering a quality service to our customers Being environmentally responsible Committed to developing our people Aware of our impact on the communities we serve.
The Commercial Manager appointment will have full fiscal responsibility, including commercial reporting, sub-contract procurement, risk management, bid management and management of the commercial team.
Functional Remit
Produces and reconciles the monthly accounts and forecasts Monitors overhead expenditure and reports on exceptions Chairs monthly Out-turn Cost reviews Forecasts strategic gain share position Reports to the Leadership Team on Commercial Matters Focus for insurance matters, Bonds and PCG?s Risk process champion Managing early warnings and change orders (inc. CE quotations and agreement)
