Job Description
The Client is seeking a CIS Analyst to work on a range of defence projects involving military communications and information systems (CIS), particularly in the areas of: requirements, analysis, design, architecture, interoperability, planning, through life management and security. Personal Characteristics Candidates will need:
To be degree qualified in an Engineering/Mathematical or Scientific Discipline or have equivalent engineering experience.
Knowledge and experience of the following is expected:
Previous consultancy experience associated with military communications and information systems (this may include a relevant MSc, PhD and/or work experience). Knowledge of a range of such systems and technologies. Ability to liaise effectively with clients to define and clarify requirements, assess relevant data/information and provide consultancy advice as appropriate. Ability to lead technical teams and delegate work appropriately to team members. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation and report-writing skills. Flexible approach to work, able to work alone or as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements for the role:
System architecture definition, system management, service delivery.
