Job Description
Our client who provides automotive information and marketing solutions to the automotive world and its related industries are looking for a data analyst who's key responsibilities will be to gather user requirements from internal and external clients; to assemble data using appropriate databases, spreadsheets and other data transformation and conformance packages. You will also be required to interpret the customers 'needs' and produce generic report designs and templates to analyse their issues and queries. You will also ensure that project flow from requirements gathering, through data acquisition and transformation, report design and production is controlled and delivered to agreed timescales.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in applying information system technology to sales information, economics or statistics alongside experience with Cognos and Business Objects. You will have demonstrated the ability to work within a QMS environment. You will ideally have experience within the automotive industry and with handling large data sets. You will also need good communication skills.
