Job Description
Waste Project Managers required across my clients London Office Waste is a successful market for my client and they are looking to supplement their project team as they secure and deliver an increasing number of exciting waste projects on behalf of their clients.
One of their key clients needs to invest significantly in the way we manage and dispose of our waste arisings, both municipal and commercial. Landfill is increasingly being seen as an unsustainable option, one which is being economically and environmentally discouraged. It is widely estimated that over the next 10 + years some ?15bn worth of investment is required in the UK to improve and enhance the existing waste management infrastructure.
This additional capacity could be in terms of waste; handling, movement, segregation, diversion or disposal. My client is at the forefront of this market. Providing programme and project management skills to the public and private sector - helping them shape, validate and deliver complex waste strategies and infrastructure procurement projects. My Client provides a portfolio of property and construction-related services across a wide range of market sectors.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience within the waste industry of: Project options analysis Preparation of outline and full business cases Risk analysis and management Site selection / acquisition / planning Soft market testing Appreciation of available technical solutions PFI / PPP procurement Value for money assessment Affordability assessment Deliverability capability assessments Managing EU procurement processes Client relationship management Gateway reviews PRINCE2 project management processes Ideally candidates will also be educated to a degree level preferably with a construction related chartership.
