Job Description
To inspect, organise and supervise New Build Housing, Care and Rehabilitation Schemes to ensure that they comply with Employers Requirements, the Association's Standards and Development Quality Requirements as well as other statutory regulations. To build effective working relationships with the Association's customers and project partners.
Provide technical advice on initial design proposals to influence material selection and to promote optimum design solutions. Inspect works in progress and complete appropriate written records to ensure compliance with working drawings and specifications in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and good practice. Carry out snagging of completed units, to ensure that the property is ready for final inspection by the Employer's Representative. Liaise with the Project Manager to arrange and attend the handover of the property providing equipment and operating instructions for use by customers within required timescales so that client accommodation needs are met. Liaise with customer stakeholders to ensure matters raised are resolved and public relations issues are addressed. Ensure rectification of defects during the liability period, to ensure that the Contractor has carried out his duties in accordance with the contract. Carry out principal Project Manager duties on new build/conversion/rehabilitation projects up to £1m in value. Carry out Stock Condition Surveys on completed developments to provide updated information for the Asset Management Database
