building control jobs

Contract and permanent Building Control jobs available nationwide- typically required for positions within the public and private sector for all levels of Building Control professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that regulations on public health, safety, energy conservation and disabled access are met through plan checking and site inspections on domestic, commercial and industrial property for both new build and alteration/extension projects. In addition you may be required to deal with plan appraisals, demolition control, site inspections and carry out risk assessments on dangerous structures.

For Building Control Officer jobs you will ideally be fully qualified or working towards MRICS/MB Eng and have some building control job experience. Applications will be considered from candidates with a HNC/D Building, with a sound knowledge of the construction industry and associated legislation.
