Job Description
Sustainability Technical Director Leeds - City Centre / West Yorkshire to £70k + Excellent Benefits
Building Services M&E Sustainability Technical Director role in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will ideally have extensive commercial experience within a similar multi-disciplined consultancy role in the UK. The role involved the provision of technical advice for design strategies, coordinating input from relevant disciplines, including:
·Advising on low energy design ·Simulation of the building environment and assessing the feasibility of natural ventilation ·Daylight modelling and the assessment of energy saving ·Feasibility of the integration of Renewables into schemes ·Feasibility of combined heat & power and district heating ·Water saving measures including recycling and harvesting strategies ·Construction impacts and minimum strategies ·Brownfield land and ground contamination assessment ·Bio-diversity and ecological appraisal ·Social and economic sustainability measures
It is important that the Sustainability team can advise in general terms on all of these areas and undertakes BREEAM or EcoHomes Assessments as necessary.
