Job Description
Site Manager job - North London
Our client, a regional contractor is looking to appoint a Site Manager for an Education projects within the Cambridgeshire area. The majority of their projects are within the health and education sectors and range up to £10 million and most of these being Design and Build.
Duties may include:
Controlling of health, safety & environmental issues Conduct induction training for operatives Prepare construction & short term programmes Ensure method statements And risk assessment are in place and monitored In control of the whole construction phase and processes on site Pre- commencement meeting with sub - contractors & monitoring Support, lead and manage site staff & operatives Monitor and Chart information flow (Internal & External) Client and professional team liaison Management of the sub-contractors
Applicants with the following qualifications will have a distinct advantage: - 4 day first aid - CSCS card - Scaffold / Asbestos Awareness - CITB 5 day Health and Safety certificate

Ideal candidates should have main contracting experience and have good industry knowledge. It would be preferred if you have managed projects of up to £10 million and of the above sectors.
