Project Type: Social Housing refurbishment and fit out. New Kitchens and Bathrooms
*Job Description/ Responsibilities: My client requires a Site Manager to manage a Decent Homes Project. Due to commence in September, this project is due to last for a period of 4 years and it will include a number of phases. Due to the complexity of this project, my client requires an individual who is willing to see the duration of it. Reporting the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the site including Health & Safety (there is a strict policy which will need to be adhered to), budget & scheduling management and overseeing all works taking place on site. You will need to ensure the strict timeframe is followed at all times. You will have a number of Site Supervisors on site in order to assist you in this process. The successful candidate will need to have prior experience in the Decent Homes Project. You will also need to be willing and able to communicate with many different individuals & groups; this will typically involve tenant's in situ, clients, local authorities, trades & labour and resident liaison officers.
*Key Experience / Skills Required: The candidate must have experience in the Decent Homes Project, refurbishment works & working with Tenants in situ.
*Qualifications / Professional Memberships required: CSCS & First Aid would be preferred but not essential. It would be advantageous to have completed a Scaffold Awareness course.
