Job Description
Site Engineer Required For Kings Cross Station
The main purpose for the role will be to manage a selection of the site production team to achieve the project objectives, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation. Also to ensure that within the section of work, suppliers/ subcontractors' works are coordinated, produced in accordance with the drawings and specifications without defects, and in accordance with the Contract Programme. The right candidate's main activities will be to manage a section of the site production team, including suppliers and subcontractors to construct the works safely, efficiently, to programme and within budget. You must ensure that the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all HS&E legislation and the site Health, Safety and Environmental Plans. Make sure that method statements and risk assessments are read, understood and communicated effectively to the workforce The right Candidate will have shown good commitment and loyalty to previous employers, and supply references from their former employees. Experience within the rail industry would be a great advantage but candidates with a solid civil engineering background will also be considered.
