Job Description
Due to the awarding of several new projects, our client a leading specialist rail contractor is seeking to employ a Signalling Project Engineer to work in the Midlands region,
You would be responsible for the full range of signalling systems on one or more of our projects. As a key member of the Project Management team you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from design and implementation through to test and commissioning. You will also manage your resources and team effectively to deliver exceptional signalling engineering to agreed plans and budgets.
It is essential that you will have gained previous demonstrable experience working within signalling engineering and will have successfully delivered projects from start to finish. It is also important that you will be a competent people manager and knowledgeable engineer, you will also possess a 'can-do' attitude, excellent organisational ability and high standards of workmanship. Possession of an appropriate IRSE licence is required.
A HNC or higher qualification in a related discipline and / or professional membership of IET would be advantageous.
