Job Description
Our client has a job vacancy for a Shift Leader (M&E) to be based from a Data Centre site in London's Docklands Purpose of role: To ensure regular work is executed in the most efficient and economical manner and that emergency and extra works are expedited with the minimum delay. To administer all above efficiently, controlling standards and attitudes of staff in the process. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Health and Safety considerations. To control and action response to customer's requirements. To manage the performance disciplines and attitudes of staff. To ensure Quality Assurance, Health and Safety and Environmental Policy procedures are maintained efficiently. Plant condition monitoring and performance review. Implementation and control of Permit to Work and Limitation of Access Procedures. Supervision and monitoring of Preventative Planned Maintenance activities and production of reports. Sub-contract co-ordination and control and safe working practices. HV Authorised Person Essential/Experience: City & Guilds Electrical Parts 1 & 2 or ONC equivalent Supervision / Management courses Health & Safety training HV authorised UPS & Generator experience Refrigeration experience BMS experience Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification. Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection Experienced in High Voltage switching Experience Desirable: Computer PPM management systems (Concept 300) Basic Mechanical experience/knowledge IT skills and user knowledge: Excel/Word Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
