Job Description
Our client is a leading Facilities Services provider in Middle East they are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager, the company is on a recruitment drive to hire professional staff to augment the existing team of professionals. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will report to the Contract Manager with a functional reporting line to the Contract Commercial Manager. They will be a key support for to the operations team for one of their prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi. Procurement requirements will mainly be in the electrical, mechanical and soft services fields for both equipment and operational services. The candidates will be responsible for: - Managing the procurement process within group policies and procedures, - Negotiation with our current suppliers and subcontractors with the objectives of enhanced service provision and or cost reduction, - Sourcing new suppliers and subcontractors meeting company requirements, - Defining specifications for tenders in coordination with the operations team - Drafting contracts using standard company templates - Following the contracts through to the delivery stage as well as ongoing assessments - The reporting of cost reduction without reduction in quality The candidate shall have proven track record in communication, negotiation and people management skills and a strong understanding of procurement, stores management and material planning, and should be able to work on own initiative and within a team. .The candidate will have to be well organized, talented and autonomous in their job and will be able to make the right decision at their level.
