Job Description
Due to an increasing workload and restructuring of the C&S team, our client wishes to recruit a senior structural technician to join their experienced team to help deliver an excellent service to our Clients & enhance their reputation as one of the leading structural engineering businesses in the country. The Leeds Structures team currently has a 35 strong team and works closely with other specialist engineering teams to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
Job role 1. Produce AutoCAD structural drawings, General Arrangement, Reinforced concrete, Misc. details and Structural Steelwork General Arrangements along with relevant details under supervision. 2. Liaise under supervision with main contractor and the client and other design team members during the design process. 3. Issue structural drawings to the internet based document control system compliant with project protocols and with WSP CAD standards and protocols. 4. Co-ordination of structural drawings under supervision with other design team members, Architect's, Building Services and External Works consultants 5. Work under supervision with team members to identify & meet client needs and expectations, responding positively and professionally to clients.
As this is a Senior post you will need to be able to demonstrate a high proficiency with the use of AutoCAD within Structural Engineering and have the confidence in your own ability to produce faultless drawings whilst aiding the junior staff in their own development.
