Job Description
We require a Senior Structural Engineer to be a key member in a team of engineers based in East Grinstead. You will be expected to lead and develop teams of graduates and technicians in preparing structural design solutions for major schemes from preliminary stage to tender and then design stage. You will have full control and responsibility for programme and financial elements of the projects.
Experience in structural design principles and processes will be expected as well as experience in detailed designs of road/rail structures, such as bridges, retaining walls and tunnels. Experience with BS Codes is essential while further experience in the use of Euro Codes will be an added advantage. A relevant engineering degree is required while those who are chartered or currently pursuing chartership would be highly desirable.
