Job Description
As part of their continued growth, a senior opportunity has arisen based in their Cardiff office, to expand the planning services in Wales. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from large scale multidisciplinary schemes to smaller planning projects including appeals and inquiries.
The principal function of this position is to support the leader of the Planning and Design Team in Cardiff to raise the profile of the team in Wales and to increase our planning capabilities with the objective of winning more work in the region.
The priorities of this role may include: "to take day to day responsibility for the co-ordination of specific planning projects and the planning elements of multidisciplinary projects. "to undertake a wide variety of planning related work, "to take responsibility for the preparation of small bids or elements of larger proposals including PQQs "to deputise for the Associate Director and other staff as appropriate. "to assume the role of project manager including the maintenance of financial and communication records. "to identify and secure new clients and work "to Mentor and instruct junior staff "to raise the profile of the Planning and Design Team in Wales
