Job Description
SENIOR PLANNER JOB - HERTFORDSHIRE
Our client is a well respected Main Contractor that is part of a large corporation. They operate on a regional basis and are seeking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their existing team at their offices in Hertfordshire.
They specialise in commercial, education and health projects within London, Middlesex and Hertfordshire. Ideal candidates will need to have a minimum of five years experience and knowledge of Power Project as well as live and tender planning.
The key responsibilities will be but not limited to the following: " Prepare programmes and analyse bid information " Prepare detailed reports for use by the bid team " Produce programmes using the most recent information available stating assumptions and updating as the design development evolves. " Ensure a consistency of realistic, achievable programming " Promote, advise and support the pre-construction team " Anticipate problems and facilitate imaginative and realistic solutions " Assist project teams and individuals to raise their planning skills and the use of the software. " Challenge and question the existing 'norm' embracing change " Provide realistic monthly updates on programmes and pre-construction programmes. " Meet deadlines without the need for prompting " Provide guidance and training to others
