Job Description
Senior Planner Job - Social Housing New Build;
A Planner is required for a highly sought after role with a Top 10 Main Contractor based at their office in West London. As a company, the social housing arm encompasses both social and affordable housing. The successful individual will have a strong solid background in construction which includes planning, experience of Microsoft Power Project, excellent communication skills and have previous experience of working on tendering.
The key responsibilities will be but not limited to the following: " Prepare programmes and analyse bid information " Prepare detailed reports for use by the bid team " Produce programmes using the most recent information available stating assumptions and updating as the design development evolves. " Ensure a consistency of realistic, achievable programming " Promote, advise and support the pre-construction team " Anticipate problems and facilitate imaginative and realistic solutions " Assist project teams and individuals to raise their planning skills and the use of the software. " Challenge and question the existing 'norm' embracing change " Provide realistic monthly updates on programmes and pre-construction programmes. " Meet deadlines without the need for prompting " Provide guidance and training to others
