Our client is looking for a senior planner to work on a major project within the District, The candidate must have experience working on major applications and a local authority/public body background. The candidate will support and assist the Team Leaders to ensure efficient and effective service delivery within the development control and major development teams. Although primarily a development control role, the successful candidate will also play a positive and active role in the future planning, enforcement, monitoring and delivery of development within the District. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the council's strategic priorities and objectives for the area.
This is initially a 3 month contract with possible extension.
