Job Description
SeniorTender Planner job, AndersElite are currently working alongside Taylor Woodrow Construction, to appoint a Senior Tender Planner within the Hertfordshire office. They are a market leading main contractor specialising in education, health, rail, mixed use, high spec residential, retail and airport projects from £10m-£200m+. Each project is chosen on its own merits based on technical complexity and potential profitability. Therefore this gives employees a wide range of innovative and prestigious project experience. Taylor Woodrow Construction expects candidates to be able to demonstrate experience of the below mentioned responsibilities; " Input at feasibility / pre-qualification stage " Development of tender programme " Interrogation / challenge sub-contractors programme and sequence " Preparation of method statements, logistics and sequence plans " Identification of project risks and opportunity " Contribution to the development of main contractor's preliminaries " Communication of planning output at tender settling meetings & interviews with client teams " Collaboration with all available in-house and external resources for bid preparation " Watching brief through construction of won opportunities Also candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills; " General IT skills " Good knowledge of planning software " Varied construction knowledge " Understanding of contractual, commercial and building design requirements " Team leadership and coaching of sub-ordinates " Use of own initiative " Delivery to tight deadlines For the right candidate Taylor Woodrow Construction will be able to offer a competitive remuneration package, including significant benefits, annual bonus based on individual and company performance, on-going personalised training which will further enhance future progression.
