Job Description
Our client is a leading contractor within the rail industry, they have a strong portfolio in the delivery of both civil engineering and building projects. Their range of work includes; design and build of rail depots, refurbishment and new build of stations, the reconstruction of the rail infrastructure including tunnels, bridges and viaducts, and the construction of multi-storey car parks.
Our client seeks an Intermediate and Senior P3e Planner to join their busy and successful team in Warrington.
Responsibilities:- - Supporting senior management for planning functions within the Projects Controls business units - Delivery of the necessary reports to allow Senior Managers to direct the project effectively - Ensuring that all issues within the programme are highlighted and understood by senior management and giving appropriate planning advice - Delivery of the Period Programme Update and information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the programme on a period by period basis
The successful candidate:- - Large project experience would be preferable (£10million - £50million) - Tender planning experience advantageous - Able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of Project Controls Techniques - Railway industry knowledge - ideally Signalling; experience of using Microsoft Products and experience of using P5 and/or P3
Remuneration:- - £35k - 45k - 23 days annual leave - Pension - Bonus - Excellent training, support and development
