Job Description
As part of a busy Geotechnical team, you'll provide professional advice, as well as seeing that client expectations are met. On a day-to-day basis that'll mean carrying out and managing operations in foundations, earthworks, retaining wall, design and site investigations. You'll also play a key role in supporting the team's business and technical development. In addition, you'll prepare budgets and fee estimates, and assess commercial and contractual risks.
About You
What you'll bring to the role is extensive knowledge of UK design codes, standards and specifications. A clear communicator, you will be capable of mentoring junior staff and will have a background in geotechnical-project delivery, plus the ability to interrogate the relevant design software. You will also have a degree in Civil Engineering or Applied Geology, and will be working towards chartered status, such as CEng or CGeol. A UK driving license is essential.
