Job Description
Geophysicist required for a very well funded young independent oil company based in the South East.
Our client requires a Senior Geophysicist to join their existing team to work on their UKCS and European Business Development. With key assets in the Southern, Central and Northern North Sea, our client has a business plan in place to exploit undeveloped discoveries across the UKCS with associated near field exploration and appraisal. The company has grown significantly over the last three years from around ten to over fifty people within the organisation.
The position will be responsible for working on all assets at all stages of the life cycle with a focus on Seismic Interpretation, appraisal and development of existing discoveries, while working within an integrated team to identify new targets for exploration.
Candidates will be educated to a minimum of degree level in the Geosciences with a preference for a higher degree. With extensive experience working as a Geophysicist within the industry it is desirable for candidates to have worked for an operating oil company and have previous experience of the UKCS.
