Job Description
Senior Geophysicist required for initial focus on Italian assets.
Our client requires an experienced Geophysicist to join their existing London based team. With a focus on the European Union and near-by areas the company is an operator that has had continual growth and success with onshore and offshore assets.
The main purpose of the role is to provide Geophysical expertise to support exploration and development projects across their UKCS and international portfolio. Owing to success with their Italian assets the main focus for the role will initially be directed towards this portion of the portfolio. As part of an integrated team, the successful candidate will be involved with the identification of new targets for exploration along with appraisal and development of existing discoveries. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide seismic interpretation for these projects while assisting other job functions where required across the rest of their portfolio.
Candidate should have experience working within an operating oil company with a preference for candidates who understand the internal mechanisms of a smaller organisation. Owing to the focus on Italian assets it is highly desirable that candidates have previous experience of working on Italian portfolios and the ability to communicate in Italian would be a great bonus.
